A few years ago, we took our (at the time, only) daughter to Disney World. I was skeptical. I was a cynic. I thought Disney would be too commercial and annoying. Oh boy, was I wrong. My daughter was four and believed in princesses, so it was the perfect time for her to go. And it’s kind of like how awesome my Vegas wedding was… because we were in Vegas and Vegas knows how to do weddings. We were in Disney, and Disney knows how to do vacations. Everyone was just so dang NICE. And everything was just so organized and well done and over the top. We had a blast and I was proven wrong. It also helped that my husband is military, so we were able to stay in the military resort and get major discounts.
My youngest doesn’t know what Disney is, but she has Minnie and Mickey dolls and she’s obsessed with treating them as real. So for her, if her fascination remains and I’ll have to do a Minnie and Mickey birthday party one day, here is a collection of Mickey Mouse-themed food ideas.
